Legal notice
Who publishes this site, who hosts it and what the house rules are — as questions and answers, because it’s nicer to read.
- What is a legal notice for, on a website?
It lets every visitor, like you, know whose website they are browsing and what rules apply.
- What’s the risk of leaving it out? It would save space.
It’s often a *** to read, too! It’s like welcoming someone without telling them who you are or how to behave in your home. Except that here, the website owner faces heavy fines.
- OK, so whose website am I browsing?
-
The publisher of the Power 21 website is (surprise!) the company POWER21. Our offices are in Aix-en-Provence, filled with the lovely scents of lavender, thyme and rosemary. POWER21 SAS is registered with the Aix-en-Provence Trade and Companies Register, just a few hundred metres from our offices.
Our website is hosted by the French company OVH:
- Is that all about you?
-
Here are all the administrative details as well:
Happy now, or would you like more?
- How can I contact you to say I love your website?
With pleasure: by email at hello@power21.io, by booking a call with us, or in person by dropping by.
- By the way, what do you know about me as a visitor?
Only what you enter when you request a contact or a demo.
- Everyone talks about cookies. How does it work here?
-
Like (almost) every website, we use cookies.
Don’t worry: they are not used to follow you around the web, just to understand how the site is used — how many visitors come by, which pages they view — and how to improve the overall experience.
- And how do I access my personal data?
Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the data controller is Mathieu Chevalier, who can be reached through the contact form to answer your questions about the data concerning you (types of data, purpose, type of processing…) and, if needed, to modify or even delete it. Details are in our privacy policy.
- I like your website. Who runs it?
The Power 21 teams put their heart into making it pleasant and inspiring. The intellectual and industrial property therefore belongs to POWER21. If you would like to reuse our articles, visuals or logos, no problem… just remember to credit the source (www.power21.io, with a link to our website), as copyright and image rights require. As for photo and illustration credits, mostly produced in-house, please mention them whenever you reuse them.
- Can I use your website however I like?
-
Make yourself at home: browse the pages and news as you please… However, any malicious or ill-intentioned use, such as counterfeiting or disparagement, will be punished under articles L335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. Let’s not overdo it!
POWER21 can in no way be held responsible for the content, in particular any unlawful content, of websites reached through hyperlinks. Nor can POWER21 be held responsible for any loss of data, revenue, opportunity or profit suffered directly or indirectly during or after a visit to our website.
- How can I make the most of your website?
Let your intuition and curiosity guide you! We do everything we can to keep it reliable… but if, despite our precautions, something went wrong, POWER21 could not be held responsible for the consequences, particularly for those using a hyperlink.
- In case of a dispute, who can I turn to?
Contact us: it’s simpler than getting tangled in complex procedures that waste everyone’s time :) If needed, we can arrange mediation through the French Ombudsman (free and quick). As a last resort, please note that these terms are governed by French law; in the event of a dispute, only the courts of POWER21’s registered office shall have jurisdiction.
- No, I was just curious… thanks for the chat!
My pleasure. I hope you find what you’re looking for on our website… and feel free to share it!
